I'm so glad we decided to wait to have Avery's party at home… it was a great weekend with family and friends!
Uncle Tony, Dawn, Kate, and a friend of hers were all able to work it out to come for Sis' birthday par-tay - lucky girl!
Uncle Tony... the kids sure love hanging (on) with him!
Twister with a little twist...
They're gettin' good at this...
SUCH a happy guy!!
Prepping for Avery's party....So. Much. Pink.
Happy girl, posing by her desserts
A little pre-party lesson from Aunt Dawn on making tea...
The spread (thoughtfully chosen based on Avery's favs and limitations of our kitchen situation): An assortment of teas (hot teas, iced teas, green teas), soft pretzels with cheese, turkey/ham/cheese sandwiches on pretzel buns, applesauce cups, carrots/celery in ranch cups, fruit cups, salad, and cupcakes and cheesecake bites for dessert... yum!!
A variety of tea-party props: hats, hats, and more hats, pearls, and feather boas
Birthday girl likes her hats :)
and soft pretzels with cheese!
A few candid shots of our guests..
No party is complete without a little break-dancing!
I found this amazing candle that lights in the center with an obnoxious flame, which then opens up and lights several other small candles in the shape of a flower, all while spinning and singing the tune of "Happy Birthday" - it was quite a hit!
The succession of Avery's facial expressions is pretty entertaining...
Priceless (thanks, Uncle Tony!)
diggin' in!
Me and my birthday girl :)
Having her cake and eating it, too - all four plates
Love.
Nolan joining in - we'd take him in if we could! :)
Presents, presents, presents!
Really wish I knew what they were looking at, as neither frightens easily

Happy girls are the prettiest :)
Trying out the new pumps
And this guy was happily entertained by Kate and thrilled to play with an empty box!
"Tea for Two" party: Success!
