Another fun Pre-K party!
The Halloween party was a bit chaotic so we scaled back a bit and enjoyed some cupcakes and juice for a snack...
...then a craft of making jingle bell bracelets...
...which came in very handy when the big guy in red showed up!
Having Santa come to the party was such a big treat! Papa Ray knows him and convinced him to dress up and come visit the classroom. And he was so great that he agreed to visit the other preschool class across the hall.. because what Santa would visit some kids and not all?!
The kids were hysterical with Santa and the things they told him/asked him:
One kid said: "My Dad said he saw you one time! You were flying and we had to hurry home and go to bed right away."
And another one: "My sister was bad. She hit me today."
And: "Do you know Sophie??" (referring to her elf)
Rudy: "Dad, Papa knows Santa! I saw him get in his car!"
Santa was a little hard of hearing which made the whole thing that much more entertaining for me as I guided him around :)
Some kids were so aggressive in getting right up to him and jabbering away, others just looked in awe, others stood back and were pretty hesitant, and a couple were terrified and in tears.
Santa passed out candy canes, then it was group dancing and out the doors for Christmas break! Another successful party in the books!
