Lots of time spent drawing on the patio with sidewalk chalk… I have to add a quick story - John is a little, or a lot, particular about the new concrete. He is constantly blowing it off or cleaning it off in some way. The first day I got the chalk out John wasn't home. When he saw our kids' beautiful, artistic work alllll over he said, grumpily, "I sure how that all comes off..". Has anyone EVER heard of sidewalk chalk not washing off a sidewalk?! If so, rest assured, this did come off very easily.
Poor Avery - Rudy is constantly taking things from her. A lot of times she doesn't mind, but chalk, well that's important to her...
Miss Peach isn't always as sweet as she seems. She can be quite the instigator, too!
Rudy has not been taking naps lately… so I have been trying to come up with some things to do with him when his "quiet time" is over and Avery isn't up yet. Like a "Getting Ready for Pre-K" activity book…
And just couldn't help but document the night I handled all three kids solo - baths included! Self: High five!
Although it didn't come without some meltdowns, naturally (by all of us). This is Rudy's sad face… breaks your heart, right? "Mom, me sad. Me see Dad" were his exact words.
But all was well - everyone needed held ("needed" is used loosely here) and I managed :)
