Avery at 9 Months

Such a pretty girl!!

Height:  29.5"(97 percentile)

Weight:  23 lb, 3 oz (97 percentile)

Head:45.5 cm (88 percentile)

Diaper size: 4

Clothes size: She is teatering between 12-18 months (or 18 months) and 18-24 months (or 24 months).  Basically the 12-18 month fit her very well now, but I'm stuck on buying winter clothes.. will she fill out those 18-24 months ones that I've already bought?  Or is she leveling out for a few months?? 

Eats:  She still takes 5 bottles a day.  One small one first thing in the morning, around 10, around 1, around 4, and around 7:30-8.  She eats breakfast, lunch, and dinner with us and snacks, too.  She was doing great with the baby food, but lately she has lost interest.  We are lucky to get her to finish 1/2 of what we would like her to finish.  But she loves her snacks!  Unfortunately, I can't let her eat puffs, cheerios, and graham crackers for every meal.

Sleeps:  My sweet, easy-sleeping baby.  Thank God.  Seriously.  Avery is relatively easy to put down for sleep.  She is hit or miss on a morning nap.  If anything, it's usually a quick one in the car or stroller.  She goes down for a 2-3 hour nap around 1 and then down for bed about 8.  She sleeps through the night and wakes for the day about 7am.  Not bad at all!

Talks:  Lots and lots of babbling.  She has gotten quite vocal, too!  When Rudy is being especially loud, she works on yelling louder than him.  She is also mastering, "Psch" -- sass coming out already!  And I think she picks up a lot from Rudy... I don't remember Rudy yelling at me specifically until he was much older, but Avery already yells for "Mom"...over and over! 

Moves:  Avery is a crawling machine.  She pulls up on just about everything, and can't get enough of it.  She is so proud of herself, too.  I wouldn't be surprised if she attempts walking soon.

Teeth: 4 total.  2 front teeth on top and 2 front teeth on bottom!

Hair:  Growing in, actually, but much longer in the front.  It's like her hair was made for pigtails.  If I don't pull it back, she's always trying to push it out of her face.

Play:  She wants right in the mix as much as possible.  As long as she is around the group, she is content to keep herself occupied.

Interests:  Anything Rudy does or has.

Personality:  Her personality is really starting to show.  She is a shy girl, that's for sure.  It takes her time to warm up to a new environment, or new faces.  She is pretty serious and keeps a straight face...But get on her good side, and she's all smiles!  She does a "fake smile" -- scrunches up her face all adorably cute that cracks us up.
