Avery's main activity is working on getting stronger - lots of tummy time, trying to sit up, and avoiding a blow from her big brother.

It took Rudy almost 18 months to master it... Avery was born doing it!

Such a big girl!

Rudy has been his crazy, busy self.  The kid never stops moving and we are always trying to come up with ways to entertain or corral him.

 Gran crafted this awesome clubhouse for Rudy to play in.  It fits over the end of our island like a tablecloth -- easy on, easy off -- and quickly folding into our closet

Aunt Dawn the Great stopped in for a visit

the front side has a door and the other sides have windows... with lots of animals all over!

We are also trying to have Rudy practice using utensils.  He was doing really well with the spoon and applesauce until one day he decided he had had enough.  He threw the spoon, lifted the applesauce, and boy was that easier!

And my homemade entertainment... a used paper towel roll duct taped to the island leg with a bowl underneath.  All kinds of things fit down the tube (strawberries from his play kitchen, cars) and Rudy is occupied!

We also get together with the Davlin's on a weekly basis usually.  This week the weather was a high 50 degrees!  The boys were thrilled to get to play outside!  Rudy has been desperate for some outdoor time.  He never wants to get in the car or walk inside.  We can't wait for spring weather!!
