Happy birthday, Mr. Ru!

Rufus turned 3!  So now that he is out of the "terrible 2's," we are expecting a much better behaved dog.  No jumping, no barking crazily, no peeing on the rugs...but then again we are talking about Rufus and I don't think much is going to change!  But I wouldn't want them to.  I love Rufus' spunk and I wouldn't want him to change (even though I have to remind myself that when he starts barking at nothing right when Rudy's eyes close and then open wide immediately to the sound of Rufus). 

Rufus is an incredibly puppy.  We have so much love for that crazy animal!  He is always up for playing, always up for cuddling, always up for anything, really!  He loves walks, rides, treats, anything from my dad, and his family.  And he is very much a part of our family.  He makes us feel loved every day!  And when John is at work, he steps up as the man of the house and protects me and Rudy.  I had never had a pet before, but I can't imagine any other dog like Rufus...He is a one-of-a-kind!  He really is our best friend...
