Celebrating Bubbers!

Can ANYONE believe our little (big) Ben turned 1 already?!

We started out Ben's birthday with homemade muffins and a little birthday tune.

Then the kids and I took on the task of cleaning out the car - a fun trip through the car wash (I'm 30 and still think it's cool to go through) and a double batch of quarters to get all the vacuuming done!

All so this little guy could graduate to his forward-facing carseat!  It's not so obvious in this picture, but he was THRILLED about it!

We met Dad for lunch and otherwise, we had a nice day together at home :)

The next day was party-day!

We had a nice, simple, close friends and family cook-out at home to celebrate Mr. Ben.

Rudy and Avery were a big help in getting everything set up!

My sister-in-law says her Dad tells her it goes to Cleveland.  We are planning a trip there together sometime soon...
