One-Year Stats - Miss Peach

Height:  30.5 inches (90th percentile)
Weight:  24 lbs, 3 oz (95th percentile)
Head: 46.2 cm (82nd percentile)
Clothes Size: Teetering between 18 and 24 months
Diaper Size: 4
Shoe Size:  Some 4's, some 5's
Teeth: 5 at one, but has gained another in the last couple weeks and another couple are very very close to breaking skin.

Walking:  Few steps here and there around her birthday, but in the couple weeks past she is unstoppable and a full-blown walking lady!

Talking:  Mom, Dad, and yelling/babbling

Bottles:  Down to 2-3 a day with minimal formula.

Other items to note:  Peach is really warming up to crowds and people.  She is a shy girl, no doubt about that.  But it is taking her less and less time to get comfortable around others and be herself.  I was really surprised how well she did over the holidays.  It didn't take long for her to jump in with her brother, putting on masks and scaring company, or walking around like she owned the place.  She is also quite vocal when her favorite guests arrive -- grandmas and grandpas -- demanding attention and usually arms raised to be picked up.   And who could resist?!

She also is getting good at taking direction and responding to us in her own ways.  I can ask her, "Avery, will you get Rufus a treat?"  And she will nod her head, walk over to the cabinet, get out a treat and wait for Rufus to come and get it from her.  It's adorable.  Or I can ask her where she wants to go and she will point in a direction -- usually to wherever her brother is.

She is getting better and better at eating… some meals she is the first to start and last to finish.  She loves fruit and her favorite bedtime snack is popcorn.

She seems to have sensitive skin.  Not too sensitive that I'm concerned, but she will get mild rashes here and there.  They have all gone away within hours so I don't think anything has been sickness related, but I think different fabrics or products may be irritating her skin sometimes.  Just something to keep an eye out for.

She is obsessed with Rudy.  She wants to do whatever he is doing and have whatever he has.  She is usually about two steps behind.  He will get on the trampoline, and by the time she makes it over to him, he will be off so she takes a quick few jumps then heads over to whatever he moved onto.  She never wants to drink out of her sippy cup; even though it has the same thing as Rudy's, she wants her brothers.  She won't keep her hat on, but she proudly wears Rudy's.

It's so hard to believe Baby Girl is 1 year old...
