Obviously, we took Rudy out to the fair this past weekend. He really enjoyed himself, to say the least. We started out at the petting zoo and he loved it. He was pointing at the animals, squealing and trying to pet all of them. Fearless.
We made some pit stops on our way to the Miller tent to load up on some food and Rudy chowed on some corn dogs (well, just the breading technically, but he loved it all the same).
Rudy made himself at home at the Miller tent. He walked around, checked it all out, and made new friends (or at least tried). He walked right up to any child around his size and would try and make friends. Most were a bit timid around him. A dad of one of the children gave Rudy a small stuffed animal. Then later Rudy went and got it to try and give to another little kid. He even walked up to strangers' tables and made himself known. He is one social baby (although technically I should say "toddler" -- with time I'll accept that). And busy. I don't think he stopped moving the entire time we were there (which means either did John or I)!
He loved hanging with the guys, right in the middle. They all had red cups, so of course Rudy had to have a red cup.
Now that the fair is over and schools are all back, I guess it's safe to say summer is over...which only means football season is just around the corner!
Rudy is ready!
